HOW DOES THE
PROGRAM WORK?
GROUP TRAINING
WEEKEND TRAINING SESSIONS
Ages 9-18
Academy Training takes place each weekend in a group session where our trainers facilitate and instruct athletes through intentional training. Groups are capped at 6 athletes per group, allowing our trainers to provide close oversight to all participants.

WEEK PROGRAM
Ages 12-18
Athletes are provided with mid-week workout plans to encourage continued development. The weekend group session is the main event, but athletes are encouraged to make a habit of training throughout the week, if they choose to. (not mandatory)

Ages 12-18
Academy Athletes are provided gym memberships at Industrial Athletics for the duration of the program to encourage regular gym habits and routines. Open gym times are scheduled throughout the week, ensuring that a trainer is on-site and available for guidance and instruction.

The Academy Youth Training Club is a program of Industrial Athletics, a strength and conditioning gym since 2017, located in the heart of Westfort.

UPCOMING TRAINING BLOCKS >>>
The spring training sessions begin Sunday April 14th and runs for 6 weeks until May 23rd.
Summer training dates have not been finalized yet.
MEET THE
ACADEMY TRAINERS
BRANDON
BALDASSI
Brandon’s passion is centred around helping people solve their athletic problems and become more capable and resilient through training. Born out of a pursuit to resolve injuries and level-up his own performance, Brandon has formed a lifelong habit of learning, training, and sharing knowledge with those who might benefit. He is a certified Olympic Weightlifting coach, functional and barefoot training specialist, and academic researcher.
JARRET
POPOWICH
Jarret is passionate about seeing young athletes develop fitness disciplines and discover their personal potential. An owner and operator of Industrial Athletics since its inception in 2017, Jarret is a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). Additional certifications include DTS Kettlebell Foundations and DTS Hypertrophy Fundamentals.

SPRING TRAINING BLOCK
$210 + hst
Included:
- 6 weeks of group training (1 session per weekend)

AGES 12-18
SPRING TRAINING BLOCK
$370 + hst
Included:
- 6 weeks of group training (1 session per weekend on Sundays)
- 6-week workout plan provided to athletes for independent mid-week workouts
- 6-week gym membership at Industrial Athletics for scheduled open gym times (Mondays & Wednesdays between 4-7pm)
